Hello!

I’m Nick Holland, a strategist, writer, and creative force at the intersection of fintech, digital innovation, and storytelling. For more than two decades, I’ve been helping companies, media outlets, and industry leaders make sense of complex financial and technology trends — and turn them into narratives that inspire action.

My career has spanned research, journalism, and content marketing. I’ve led research for firms like Javelin Strategy & Research and Aite Group, written for publications including American Banker and The Financial Brand,  built events for conferences such as Money 20/20, and shaped content strategies for banks, fintechs and fraud prevention innovators across the globe.

Today, I focus on building thought leadership that cuts through noise with clarity, wit, and originality, hence launching Narrative Laboratory (NarLab) — a boutique content agency with deep knowledge of the idiosyncrasies of the financial services industry.

What ties my work together is a belief in narrative as a competitive edge. Whether it’s a white paper, blog series, podcast, or keynote, I build stories that connect data to people, strategy to emotion, and brands to their audience.
